I think the fact that there are 500 messages from 12 members in 2 days is remarkable; the different areas are already populated and it's been very lively. But the big question is--is it sustainable? And do you want it to keep for a long time, or just a short time?

ER has a constant flow of members who come on the scene, spend a little time there, and then move on to something else. To arrive at a steady state like that, there had to be a unifying topic--Bob Dylan--that draws in the constant flow. People Google on "Bob Dylan" and find their way to ER that way, and some hang around for awhile.

This site has a very general theme (arts, cinema, music, ...) but I think it is too general as a unifying topic to create a flow of new members.

Maybe along with "arts, cinema, music, ..." you could add a few buzz words that would attract like minded people. People Googling on those words would find their way here and stay at least long enough to check it out.

For example, you could say "This is the place for women who swoon over Gregory Peck," and all the women would come:



Then you could say "This is the place for guys who like Perez Prado records" and all the guys would come:



See what I mean? Do you think it's worth a shot? (Or did I just get banned? )

Which artists do you suggest to refer besides Bob Dylan, Beatles, Ashlee Simpson, Perez... ?

Now that ER has shifted its pirmary focus from Dylan to Wintersox, a bit more Bob would be OK.
