Erratic ATU connectivity after site maintenance

Today (3rd October 09) a message kept appearing on the board stating that ATU was closed for "Site Maintenance".

Eventually it became possible to log on, but connectivity has been slow and erratic ever since.

Is this just a passing glitch?

When it says "site maintenance" it just means that Moderator LaRue is having cyber love with the web bots.

There no doubt about it: the site has been very slow for the past three days and sometimes it drops away altogether half-way through a session.

Is this because it can't cope with the increased volume of posts/members?

I haven't been around for a couple of days, but it's certainly playing up for me today.

I have had no problem at all Check your cookies and if you have any delete all of them then go on the what is in your history and delete all of that and any data bases like yahoo delete and it cleans the board and makes it faster iif that does not work its time to call the geek Squad....

I noticed it too, Eddie. It occured on Friday as well. And yes, connectivity has been slow and earratic, well, it was yesterday and Friday, today, not so bad.

i have seen that message a couple of times also, more today than usual.

Found I couldn't access the site at all this morning.

Gave up and tried again a couple of hours later. Then it was OK.
