I have just noticed that there is no Bruce Springsteen section in this forum... I find that very disturbing... I am very disturbed.

I really do think that we should have a dedicated Springsteen section... they have one on the Born to Run site... and the Badlands site, too... so why not here?

He would probably be a cool fellow to have a beer with. Other than the Ghost of Tom Joad album I just don't care for his version of music. Everybody likes something different. It's no big deal.

Probably just another one of God's little miracles. There are lots of mysteries. We can't understand them all. Probably along the lines of the mystery of why there isn't a Springsteen section.

I'm a little more surprised there isn't a Van Halen section by now.

See, that is a terrible pun. If it is a pun at all. Incorporating rising model and future surgeon Jayme Langford in a thread protesting the absence of a Springsteen thread that morphed into 'why is Tacos not the same' discussion which then turned into a thread about lame eighties band Van Halen and then there was a comment about Jayme Langford. None of this is helpful nor funny.

Let's try to stand in LaRue's shoes for a moment. Her mother is a great Springsteen fan, a so-called "major tramp" (this is the terminology used by that populace, I gather).

Now I wouldn't want a forum where I post regularly to offer a bait to lure my mother there. If, on the other hand, Rue has no objections, then why not? Though a Deep Purple/Whitesnake/Rainbow/Blackmore's Night section might be even better.

Thanks Pete, that was my first thought when I read this. Mom has her own cyber world and cyber friends. I have mine. I don't want those mixing anytime soon. That would just be toooooo weird.

Do I like his music? Not overly. Do I want LaRue's mum posting here to see LaRue's reaction? Yes.
