Way better than Schoenberg, don't deny it.

Shocked

I wouldn't say way better but I'd say that both of them kick Berg's ass.
Webern sadly didn't have time to compose enough to have a range of compositions as fascinating as Schoenberg's.

When do we discuss whether a louse is better than a flea?

I think a flea can put on a much better show. Never really could relate to louses.

I think Webern might have been a tad too meticulous, or fastidius, or something, to write very much. I understand his output in terms of measures per hour was very low.

I love Berg's Violin Concerto.

Here's part of Schoenberg's:

Berg's opera "Wozzeck" was staged in America thanks to Gershwin's financial support. Gershwin lost a heap of money because of that.

The music of Gershwin's opera "Porgy and Bess" was heavily influenced by "Wozzeck," or at least that's what Christopher Reynolds says.
