What language is that? Czech? They sure do spell funny; it should be "S'chas na duet s Jaggerom."

So I just watched this. Must admit that the gal sure has some sweet sounding pipes. Am I to believe that those judges had no idea she could sing that way before she arrived on stage?

The official story is that the original screeners just decide which contestants are "television worthy," and that they don't pre-brief the judges, because that would spoil the spontaneity. But there is still room for suspicion. After all, they let her go on with a 3-minute backing tape; most contestants come in with only about 1 minute prepared.

Also, the way she tells it, she didn't go on the talent show on her own initiative; she was recruited by a talent scout who convinced her to go on. Most likely the talent scout came to town asking around about local competition winners.
