My favorite guitarists are:
John Williams Julian Bream Pepe Romero Andres Segovia Paul Galbraith David Russell
I don't know who is the best. Maybe John Williams. I don't know how it would be possible to improve on these two albums by Williams:
Bach: The Four Lute Suites The Great Paraguayan. Guitar Music of Barrios
They seem to be "perfect". But then, what do I know. I just listen to it.

Not bad in my book, but not among my all-time favourites. Just discovered: Bola Sete - will probably get a top spot in my guitarists pantheon:
