Went through an intensive E6 phase earlier late last year. Good stuff. Anyone else a fan of bands on this label?
Neutral Milk Hotel, The Apples in Stereo, The Olivia Tremor Control, Of Montreal etc etc. What a Face

The Olivia Tremor Control are okay if you have some drugs handy. It's been a while, but I remember Neutral Milk Hotel as not being worthy of their excellent band name.

Hideaway is probably the best post 60's psych single that's simultaneously nostalgic and forward looking.

'Hideaway' is indeed a great track.

The other good OTC album is 'Dusk at Cubist Castle'


I think it's pretty great how the guys from the different E6 bands appear on each others albums. For example on this album Rob Schneider played a Tibetan prayer board (woah cool!) and bass while Jeff Mangum played chanter pipe, slide guitar, melodica, and space bubbles (seriously wtf are they??)
