Read it and thought it was topnotch.

Are any other of Puzo's novels as good? What about The Sicilian? Is it a sequel to The Godfather? Anyone seen the Cimino movie?

Puzo's books are all expert page-turners. The nearest one comes to literature is the one where the female lead dies, losing sense of time, and finds herself in eternal agony she can't escape. Give you nightmares that one would. I forget its name, deliberately.

It's absurd. Christopher "Mortal Kombat" Lambert plays the Sicilian.

From wiki:

Lambert is a close friend of Mario Van Peebles and Sean Connery.
