Something I've been noticing for a good 10-15 years is a change in temperature outdoors. Winter isn't what it used to be. At first I thought that we were just having a few unseasonably warm winters, but by now I've concluded that there's an undeniable trend in the direction of warmer temperatures year 'round.

Any theories about what's making this happen?

According to the MET, 2008 was the coldest year in a decade. Scientist claim that this finding is just more proof of the reality of Global Warming. Albertine Gore has abondoned his war on Global Warming and has begun a new campaign against Climate Change.

The situation is looking dire--or at least very inconvenient. If the temperature doesn't swing back up in the next few years, a lot of people are going to be out of business:

I really like trees. I don't care that they absorb heat from the sun instead of reflecting it while they are living and give off greenhouse gases when they decay, I like them anyway.

Also, as long as they keep growing, they act as CO2 sinks, they only emit greenhouse gases after they die, so lets make sure they keep growing.

It really is a shame that we will have to cut down and process most of the trees on the planet to make the paper to print the money to pay off the debt incurred from saving the Globe and Global Economy from ourselves.

I can't help noticing that each cold snap is worse than the last--the next one might cover Canada with ice
(except, of course, for the parts south of Detroit ).

During WWII Winston Churchill visited Russia (where there were many ice cream stands--all outdoor). He saw people standing in line outside to buy the ice cream (it's one of the few things that were really good in Soviet Russia--the other two were bread and Stoli).

Churchill's comment on this phenomenon was: "These people will never be conquered!"
