| Something I've been noticing for a good 10-15 years is a change in temperature outdoors. Winter isn't what it used to be. At first I thought that we were just having a few unseasonably warm winters, but by now I've concluded that there's an undeniable trend in the direction of warmer temperatures year 'round. Any theories about what's making this happen? _________________ I don't do it for the money, babe. I do it to entertain people.-- Susan Boyle

| ...and one more thing I can't help noticing is that as soon as I brought up the topic, a banner ad appeared that the top of the page advertising the Wireless Temperature Station indoor/outdoor thermometer. _________________ I don't do it for the money, babe. | CO2 + H2O = H2CO3 H2CO3 = H+ + HCO3- 2Ca2+ + 2HCO3- + KAl2AlSi3O10(OH)2 + 4H2O = 3Al3+ + K+ + 6SiO2 + 12H2O 2KAlSi3O8 + 2H+ + H2O = Al2Si2O5(OH)4 + 2K+ + 4SiO2 2NaAlSi3O8 + 2H+ + H2O = Al2Si2O5(OH)4 + 2K+ + 4SiO2 CaAl2Si2O8 + 2H+ + H2O = Al2Si2O5(OH)4 + Ca2+ KAl2AlSi3O10(OH)2 + 3Si(OH)4 + 10H+ = 3Al3+ + K+ + 6SiO2 + 12H2O CO2 + CaSiO3 = CaCO3 + SiO2 CO2 + FeSiO3 = FeCO3 + SiO2 CO2 + MgSiO3 = MgCO3 + SiO2 In the oceans, CO2 exists as dissolved gas (1%), HCO3- (93%) and CO32- (8%) But don't take my word for it--just ask anybody. _________________ I don't do it for the money, babe. | According to the MET, 2008 was the coldest year in a decade. Scientist claim that this finding is just more proof of the reality of Global Warming. Albertine Gore has abondoned his war on Global Warming and has begun a new campaign against Climate Change. _________________ This isn't the 'so called' Warbleshinny Mastadon. Over

| The situation is looking dire--or at least very inconvenient. If the temperature doesn't swing back up in the next few years, a lot of people are going to be out of business: _________________ I don't do it for the money, babe. I do it to entertain people.-- Susan Boyle

| What's even more discouraging and inconvenient--the temperature trend has stopped correlating with the CO2 trend: _________________ I don't do it for the money, babe. I do it to entertain people.-- Susan Boyle

| This is all very disheartening! Here's a little project we're all working on here in Canada called "One Million Acts of Green", aimed at helping the environment and saving some energy and proving that even one person and one small act can help to improve the awful conditions our world is in (even simply changing a light bulb can make a difference)! http://green.cbc.ca/default.aspx |

| I really like trees. I don't care that they absorb heat from the sun instead of reflecting it while they are living and give off greenhouse gases when they decay, I like them anyway. Also, as long as they keep growing, they act as CO2 sinks, they only emit greenhouse gases after they die, so lets make sure they keep growing. _________________ I don't do it for the money, babe. | It really is a shame that we will have to cut down and process most of the trees on the planet to make the paper to print the money to pay off the debt incurred from saving the Globe and Global Economy from ourselves. _________________ This isn't the 'so called' Warbleshinny Mastadon. Over

| I can't help noticing that each cold snap is worse than the last--the next one might cover Canada with ice (except, of course, for the parts south of Detroit ). _________________ I don't do it for the money, babe. I do it to entertain people.-- Susan Boyle

| During WWII Winston Churchill visited Russia (where there were many ice cream stands--all outdoor). He saw people standing in line outside to buy the ice cream (it's one of the few things that were really good in Soviet Russia--the other two were bread and Stoli). Churchill's comment on this phenomenon was: "These people will never be conquered!" _________________ I don't do it for the money, babe. I do it to entertain people.-- Susan Boyle
