Beautification Award Announced

The local Community Enhancement Commission recognizes town residents and businesses for their beautification projects. The latest "Beauty Spot" award, for attractive landscaping, goes to my next-door neighbor.

I just want to say she couldn't have done it without me, because I'm the one that made her look so good.

I often wonder about the first people to discover and use magnets. Seriously, that must have blew their minds out.
Sometimes I wonder about the origin of metaphors. It is hard for me to imagine living in a world without them. I'm sure it was a better world pre-metaphor.
A potato was once considered the Devil's fruit. Shit, at the time people were eating pigs intestines and still are. Can you imagine putting your tongue to a potato and saying 'yep, definitely evil.'?
If eighty years ago the world had passed a law stating that only rich people could have children, wouldn't we all be rich now? No overpopulation concerns. Of course there would have been alot of people to sterilize. But we could have hired it out.
The wind blows all the time here now. I don't remember it doing that when I was younger.
What exactly is a 'Shot of Love'..?
