I'm not saying there are death panels (not with recorded minutes, anyway) but if the hospital staff wants your bed for someone else, they will will find a way to free up that bed.

If you sleep with another person in your bed every night, you'll get an extra millirad of radiation exposure over the course of a year, due to the potassium-40 ⁽⁴⁰K) in the other person's body.

In healthy animals and people, ⁴⁰K represents the largest source of radioactivity, greater even than ¹⁴C. In a human body of 70 kg mass, about 4,400 nuclei of ⁴⁰K decay per second.

In most classrooms there are one or two kids whose minds keep wandering.

The teachers try to be understanding, recognizing that some kids, through no fault of their own, are just naturally slow, and that when they grow up they can make themselves useful in in food service or janitorial work.
