What pissed you off today?

Out with the old and in with the new, by all means, but some things are worth preserving.

I've somehow developed an infection in my right eye: swollen, red, weeping yellow pus. The pharmacist gave me a tube of Chloramphenicol antibiotic ointment for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis.

I've had to book off work because I can't see the bleedin' signals too clearly. Not too good if you work on the railways.

Oh well, I was feeling pretty shattered anyway. Must be run-down, or something. Bought myself some Vitamins & Minerals, too, to set things right.

They stopped using that here 15yrs ago. I suppose it works, but there are so many better antibiotic drops out there.

Assuming it is a bacterial conjuctivitis, you really don't need to do anything. In general they are self-limiting. The drops will just speed things up a bit. It, however, might not be bacterial and the drops just are just making you feel better without actually treating the underlying etiology. I'd have it checked out by someone who can have a proper look at it.

I had pretty much everything that was there, including the snakes. I haven't bought a picknpix bag for years and years. I'm always too tight to spend the money at the cinema, so I dont bother.
But for some odd reason, I just had to buy some today. The bag cost me just over a fiver! haha, thats a lot of sweets. Yuck, i feel sick.

You're my hero, I don't think I've tried the pick and mix counter since my school trip to paris in year 7. Next time I go to the cinema I'm going to have some. I like those pink prawn things too, and the cola bottles!

They didn't have any pink prawns strangely, but I did buy about 8 sets of teeth. I think I'm about to overdose on the cola bottles, I got the sugary ones, the non sugary ones, the milk ones, the fizzy light blue and pink ones, and finally, the dark current looking ones.
