That's usually what the author says to the editor after he sees his work slashed from 4 pages to 6 sentences--he says it no longer looks like a bull. But it could be viewed as a drawing for busy people who are less interested in seeing what a bull looks like as in seeing the most essential lines laid out.

hi! I do not understand whatt you mean but they do NOT! use editor's for paintings If they do then that is wrong no painting should ever be chagned from the artist orginal ideas! cheers

Huh? It was a series of lithographs. Picasso started with a fairly 'robust' bull then little by little reduced it to the essence of bullness. He made prints of each stage. Then some capitalist go-getter put them together on a poster and sold them to college kids.
