No, just a statement. None of the protesters shut the site down. Polite requests were ignored and ridiculed till posters got angry. Then the site was shut down. Great for the Mods/Admin that they always find enough idiots who are ready to blame the whole thing on the few dissenters. Always works.
Now they're deleting Gypsy's posts over there, and that is breaking my heart. They're killing all the playfulness and fun, and people who suck up over there and come here for the fun can kiss my ass.

If you follow the thread that you chose to quote me from on another site you will see that they're attempting to work on all the suggestions they're getting.
Seriously though Pete, I'm not sure really all of what went on but I find it hard to believe that the mods(of which there were only TWO!! to control the insane assylum of which I'm proud to be a member ) were ridiculing. And even if they were I agrred to rules to join just like you did and some choose to push it. I choose not to. If that's a suck up to you then I really don't care. I love the site and I feel confident they'll do the right thing.

How childish is it that everyone runs here and whines. They'll all be back when it's running again and so will you.

Easy, powerpete! jimb727 is a very reasonable and nice poster and is entitled to his own opinion as anybody else is too. This is not a camp for banned ER posters but a place to discuss arts. The link was first posted on ER by the two Portuguese girls who're the admins of this site. Thus some of us came over to start a different place with less moderation and more freedom. If you like it that's fine. Jimbo likes it too and you should respect that.

And I don't see this as an ER refugee camp either (although, jimb, I won't be back there, being permanently banned) and I have no problem with honest and upright people being here and there. I know, powerpete. I really appreciated your take on things over there and am convinced that many good people have gone down the drain due to the escalating situation last week. I also tried to stand up for both bloodhound and ISN and it didn't work out.

It's no use to be fighting fire with fire though. 3LM is not an arsehole and up until last week he did a good job as a mod. I PM'd him a few days ago and can understand his take on things a little better now although I still support the abolition of perma-bans (as some others do too, carnap for example) - I'm still on the other side of the aisle, so to speak.

Which means: I'm still not in favour of the bannings but think that it's probably a good idea to re-organize ER at this point. If it turns out to be as military as it seems right now I'll probably be out of there. If the rules backfire on the middle-aged women mafia I'll probably give it another chance.

One more thing: Admin Pillow asked to avoid ER discussions because this is not an ER spin-off forum. I think he's right on the money. ER's the place to discuss ER. If you can't access it right now there's no point in discussing it anyway, is there? I don't know why you're so interested in the breaking news from ER. I couldn't care less what they're planning to do until it's reality.
