There used to be a forum here called ArtsTalk, and this looks kind of like it with the art and music discussions. Are you all artists?

Some are artists, some are pickers. Also, at least one jazz pianist. And a crazy record collector.

Most have been declared persona non grata by Bob Dylan.

Bob Dylan comes here? Oh my god, why wouldn't he like artists and musicians? I think he's an incredible artist. Even if no one here likes him or he doesn't like them he is an artist. I don't think that can be disputed, can it?

We like Bob, but we lack reverence, which is why we are "not welcome" on certain sites.

This probably sounds cryptic--it's a long story.

I must be missing something. There's a whole section on him here! It looks like there is a lot of joking about him but he saw this and didn't like it? Did this just happen recently? Please explain!

Does he really come here? If he does, has he had conversations with anyone? I think that's amazing!

You see it's like this. The founding members of this site (Frances and Stellar) were originally members of a Bob Dylan discussion forum where--if you can believe it--some disagreements arose. The moderators decided one April that the situation was out of hand, and the troublemakers must be banned.

That very April, Frances and Stellar established this forum, and many of the refugees (whether banned or just bruised) came here. The Bob forum still disgorges "trouble makers" from time to time, and they flee to this place.

So be warned, we are a bad lot.

We have no proof that Bob is actually here, but if he is, GypsyDaisy will root him out. She regards several of us as under suspician of being Bob.

It's as Pinhedz says. Basically. And from a historical stance or viewpoint. But I don't believe I am Bob. Though I could be.

Well, I'm not Bob Dylan, I promise! Is she in charge? Can someone tell her that please? Am I welcome here even if I respect him, and other musicians?

We're all Bob fans, we just don't want him to get a big head.

Pinheads, no, I am not Bob Dylan! felix, I'm sorry, I don't know that song. I just came here to talk about art and Bob Dylan is not my favorite artist but I do think he's great and I seriously doubt that he really comes here, sorry!

Oh, hahaha! I have heard that song! Okay, you mean my name! There was a painting at an art gallery that had this name and the picture was an old woman with a huge mouth! I thought it was hillarios!
