A couple of hundred members, with maybe fifty regular posters and the rest lurkers - that'd be about the case for many forums. This one's doing alright, considering the odds against reaching critical mass for survival of a forum. The temporary death - has it resurrected itself yet? - of ER may well have been a blessing in disguise, considering how many of its supports - me included - have decided this place is freer for expression which even means tolerance of the occasional fuck you poster.

If I could only edit easier - "posts" above was meant to be "posters," but I hit the send button - that one I recognize - too quickly. Oh well. Slowing down posting is not necessarily a bad thing either. It probably leads to more one-screen postings, fewer rave-ons going on past three screens into - I guess - infinity.
