Pearl was Janis Joplin's 4th album, posthumously released 4 months after her death from a heroin overdose.

For some inexplicable reason I haven't listened to it for years, but I really must give it a spin.

The last song "Buried Alive in the Blues" sounded like it would have been a winner--if only there had been a vocal recorded for it.
