Hey Tatiana, I just checked out your Floyd poster hanging on your wall--was wondering, would you swim over here and decorate my place too?

i think the wall is very artisitc and the final cut is extemely emotional that only someone who has lost a loved one in unfair circumstannces can understand.
and of course wish you were here is just a very good statement.

but IMHO the first albums are the best and the sweetest to the ear.

Hey Tatiana, is that cow moving? I swear I just saw it's tail move.

When you say the "first albums," do you mean 'Piper' and 'Saucer'?

You sound like my cousin when you speak of Floyd. He's gonna be stoked when he hears about you. Perhaps he'll post.

I don't own The Final Cut. I did back in the early 90s. The song that sticks out to me on that album is The Fletcher Memorial Home.

So what do you think of 'Allen's Psychadelic Breakfast' and Several Small Species....'?

Have you seen 'Wot's....Uh The Deal?' off of David Gilmour's Live At Gdansk?

I don't own the DVD (I believe my cousin does), but I've watched it on either youtube or David's website. It is a really moving piece. I like it way more the the original. I sent the vid to my friend who kind of likes Floyd, after he watched it, he shot me back an email expressing how beautiful it was. Perhaps another Floyd fan in the making. If you find the link, would you please post it here?

yes woo! the cow is moving. her tail flicks. cool isn't it.

yes i mean 'piper' and 'saucer'.
there is an even earlier recording that is from about 1967. it is called - 'tonite, let's all make love in london'.
it has a 16 3/4 minute version on interstellar which is more a jamming session than a record release.
i bought the cd from australia and recently bought the vinyl from england. it was produced in france.
i particlurly like 'obsured by clouds' and 'meddle'.
'more' is good.

some people don't like 'obscured' and 'more' because they are soundtracks but i think they are still written by floyd so what is the problem?

fletcher is one of my favourite on 'the final cut'.
i like 'the final cut' although many people don't. i think i have mentioned before but i feel to like FC you have to have gone through a loss of a friend/relative in crappy circumstances to understand the emotions roger is talking about.

all of 'atm' is good for me.

i have the 'live at gandsk' dvd but haven't had much time to watch it yet.

i first heard pink floyd as a teenager and now as as adult.

I like the cartoons in that movie about Bob Geldof going cuckoo. Don't they show flowers fucking or something like that? I think they also show gravestones turning into German bomber planes! Trip-a-licious! "Did did did you see the frightened ones"

I'm watching every Simpsons episode and there's a funny bit in which Peter Frampton buys Pink Floyd's giant inflatable pig for use during his stage finale, but I think Homer accidentally sets the pig free before the gig. Also in that episode Homer recounts the history of rock n' roll which in his mind all stems from Grand Funk Railroad. Ah, tele-vision.

Gilmour wasn't wearing a shirt on the performance of Echoes on the Live Pompeii film was he?

Btw, I'm still waiting to hear if you Australians still eat people on that big island.

Uzi, check South Park's hour long episode about the Imagination. And yes, The Wall has a trippy flower f'ing scene. Reminds me of Eric Idol's/Monty Python The Universe Song from the movie Meaning of Life.

woo!

no, we don't eat people. Smile
and if we did, that would have been a long time before i was born so it isn't relevant to me.

yes, it is a big island.

gilmour was not wearing a shirt in pompeii Smile
which is why i said 'another guitarist' when i referred to grand funk railroad, gilmour being the first i was talking about.

Wow. I just figured people living on big islands ate people. On the Big Island of Hawai'i we eat people. They are delicious. They taste like Spam.

Well I figured you were talking about Gilmour, but I couldn't remember wear I had seen him not wearing a shirt. I don't pay attention to dudes without shirts or to girls with toe-thumbs. Just how I ride.

yesterday, i finally got a copy of Relics, vinyl, 1st pressing, made in great britian.
i have waited many years to get this album.
the record is in perfect condition, no scratches or marks, although the cover is a tiny bit damaged on one of the edges, i glued that back together. it is a cardboard cover with bubbly dents in it, the way they used to make them.
i bought it through ebay and i am very stoked.

original cover pen & ink sketch by nick mason. remaster with shaded pink

us cover australian release , rare coins

cd cover , model ship.

i have the first one and the cd.

That's a score. The images in your post aren't loading quick enough to check them out. Slow internet for me. But I know what you got. I've seen it. I've held it. My cousin has all the Floyd vinyl accept Piper. His step-brother turned him onto Floyd when he was ten or younger. His brother saw Animals tour and The Wall tour, etc... And then his brother, my cousin, turned me onto Floyd. Nice.

Do you have Ummagumma with the original picture?

(The pearls of Floydian decadence)

I know this chick she lives in Australia
She ain't satisfied without some Pink...

Ya have to listen to GNR's "Pretty Tied Up" to get what I just did
