Would someone please explain that to me. And keep in mind that I don't know much about David Crosby at all. I know he and two other dudes were back up singers for Neil Young a half a century ago, and that lesbians want his sperm. Other than that, don't know what all the ruckus is about the dude. And how does Axl fit into the David Crosby world. I remember reading something from LJ about Chinese Democracy where he says "If David Crosby....., then Axl Rose.....

Musically he's sorta mediocre, but his public image is pretty groovy, after he cleaned up and impregnated a lesbian or something. scratch

He often uses open tuning in his song writing. Of course, he could just as easily throw an open tuned guitar down a staircase and it would write the song itself.

But enough about LJ.

I was talking to a friend of mine, he said that back in the late seventies he went to a CS&N concert. During the song Guinevere someone in the audience yelled out "rock-n-roll!". David Crosby threw a hissy fit. He stopped the song and said "shut the fuck up. if you wanted to hear rock-n-roll you should have came here to see Led Zeppelin last week."

Led Zeppelin rocks. CS&N, not so much.

The bolded section of your quote sounds exactly like Axl Rose durning a concert performance. I think I'm beginning to understand.
