| I don't care what anyone says. It is very difficult to pull of a Prine song. They may sound simple but you can't write one. _________________ This isn't the 'so called' Warbleshinny Mastadon. Over

| Well, yeah. But even tougher than writing one - I'll revise that - as tough as - is pulling one off. Those vocals are unimitable as well as unsurpassable for his songs. |

| I like Bonnie Raitt too. She likes John Prine - isn't that a duet with him? |

Dunno. Could be, I suppose, but I can't make out his voice. I too like John Prine and Bonnie Raitt. _________________ I'm hoping for a computer game.

| Oh, that's a live concert recording - in the studio recording, he sang back up to her. Unmistakable "voice," if that's whatcha call it. |

Yep, that's what I call it. Rough and lived in, I'd also call it. And expressive - and, coo. (That last, 'cos I'm here on ATU, and that's what some ATUers say, so I understand).
(The guy on guitar on that vid - and also, I think, on backup vocal - is never shown other than in shadow. Could it be they want us to THINK it's Johnny boy?)
(I've prob'ly got that studio recording. Must delve through the vinyl and see...) _________________ I'm hoping for a computer game.
