Real name—Alla Ageyeva. I don’t know about calling her a songwriter—she gets lots of help from those old reliable hit-makers Maksim Dunayevskiy, Arkadiy Ukupnik and Leonid Derbenyev.

I turned against her when she put out that infamous video called “Balalaika,” in which she imitates the sound of a balalaika by going “Dlim, dlim, dlim, dlim, …”

I'll say one thing for her--she's for shur not lip-syncing:
