Now that the "Wall of Teaspoon" has been breached (through no fault of my own) I can post again without guilt. But for the person that did it first, it must have been like waking up to a blanket of new-fallen snow, and being the first to make tracks through it.

I actually did make a wall of shoe spam here, but i thot Frances might get cross so I broke down some of the wall and made it half a wall.

Getting back to Liquid, it would appear that the first monster came from a trash can kicked by the evildoer, but the rest of them were of the type created by Dr. Prospero in "Forbidden Planet," called "monsters from the id." So the monsters are created by the minds of the evildoers victims, and ultimately the monsters from the id will punish the evildoer.

But there seems to be nothing going in the music.

The angular, bass-propelled funk grooves of Liquid Liquid laid the groundwork for post-rock bands like Tortoise and Ui more than a decade before the fact -- stripped of all excess and artifice, their hypnotically dub-like sound offered a starkly minimalist counterpoint to the prevailingly lush production of the concurrent disco movement, in the process impacting the development of everything from hip-hop to drum'n'bass.
