Must admit, I'm a late convert to the Beatles, having taken the side of the Rolling Stones in that long-ago media-rigged battle. Recently, I've been hearing a bunch of them, and I'm beginning to get the point. THey really are worth listening to....

I've said it before and gonna say it again, the Beatles are da flippin' kine. I'm so diggin' listening to these remastered disks. I only had a couple of their cds before I recieved these and I'm truly diggin' the rediscovery of the Fab Four. Listening to Mono Masters disk 2 right now. Man, they recorded some coo songs. "Rain" is trippy good. Love Lennon's singing voice. There worse is never as bad as Bob's. Then again, Bob has been at it for a long time and his best trumps the Beatle's best, I think. Or maybe they are equal. Yeah. Or, I don't know. Maybe the coin dude has an answer.

Flip that coin, coin dude - roll them dice, dice geezer. Either way Beatles beat Bob - and Bob beats Beatles ... on the right day, all things being equal. Life without 'Taxman' and/or 'Buckets Of Rain' ain't really life. In a sense.

i haven't heard the remasters so i can't comment.
i will say that i have the 'beatles anthology' and the 'lennon anthology' and i find they are very interesting to listen to. there are a lot of takes for songs and practice runs and conversation and it is a wonderful look into their recording world.
